Luckily, we just ran into some heavy sleet where we saw many cars in the ditch and a roll over accident just south of Sioux City. We got through that band of the transitioning and then ran into light snow the rest of the way, whew! Much better driving conditions that what we anticipated.
We arrived around 7:00PM and Addie and Jordie were reunited!!!! They were SO happy to see eachother! It was so cute...
Shayla hadn't seen Jordyn since Addie's birthday party in December so she was ecstatic to see Baby Jordyn! She could see so many changes since December. I told her that I could see changes by the day:(
We all hung out that evening, watched some baseball, put the kiddos to bed, and my sister cut and highlighted my hair! It was much needed, I hadn't had it done since October, whoa!
The next morning we woke up and watched some cartoons! We watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse per Jordyn's request and Paw Patrol per Addie's request!
Love these little girls to pieces! Jordyn is going to be catching up to Addie in no time! Afterall, they are only 9 months apart:)
We got the girls ready and ourselves ready and went to the mall! Of course Grampy and Grammy had to come for the day to see their two favorite girls so they met us at the mall!!
We really wanted to see the Easter Bunny but he wasn't there yet:( So, mommy played Easter Bunny for the day!! We will go see the Easter Bunny this weekend with Jordyn...
Addie had a blast pushing her cousin around in the stroller....
And just being free to run around!! The mall was pretty dead since it was a Friday morning! After the mall we all went to Old Chicago for lunch. Both of the girls fell asleep while we were eating...they were tired out!
We went back to Laura's for the afternoon and then we had to take off around 5 as Mark had to be up bright 'n early for work in the AM. We made a couple pit stops on the way home for some Taco Johns and...Dairy Queen!!!
It was a short but FUN visit!! Can't wait to get the girls together again next week for Easter and see them in their matching outfits Grammy got them!
