Jordyn is 6 months old!!

Guess what!?!? It's my HALF Birthday!!! Say it isn't so!!----Says Mommy and Daddy

Oh Jordyn Clare Hefley how we love you so! We are beyond blessed to have you in our lives. To think there could have been two of you gets me everytime, but everything happens for a reason. We are just SO overjoyed that we have you in our lives and that you are a happy and healthy little girl!!

There have been quite a few changes in this last month... Jordyn is really discovering her hands and toes. Everytime we lay her on her changing table, she automatically grabs her toes. The other night the toes on her jammies were wet and and I asked Mark why they were wet?? We figured out that she had been sucking on them :)

Jordyn is now rolling over all.the.time...the minute you lay her down on the floor or in her crib, she rolls. She JUST started rolling from BELLY to BACK! Yay! Now she is rolling around everywhere though :) We've been putting toys on the floor beyond her reach so she has to scoot/roll over to get them. She is propping herself up on her knees so her bottom in in the air but she hasn't done both knees and arms...then she will really be on the move crawling!! She can also sit on her own with some guidance at this point- sometimes she'll go to reach for something and lose her balance. She LOVES to stand like a big girl on our laps and absolutely loves bouncing in her jumperoo!! It is so fun to watch her she has such a fun time in there!

She has a few favorite toys and this is one of them...

She is teething now so anything she can get her hands on is in her mouth! That's right, I said teething...she's not a fan of teething rings so I started getting a wash cloth wet and letting her gnaw on that. She loves it. I feel so bad for the little stinker but she is handling it quite well!

She is pretty much on a set routine, for the most part, now! She usually wakes up around 6:30-7, eats 5-6 oz and watches her favorite Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, eats again around 10-10:30, eats 5 oz and takes her morning nap. She usually naps for about an hour in the AM...She eats 5oz again around 1:30-2 and takes her afternoon nap which can range from an hour to an hour and a half. She eats her solids around 5:00, takes a bath, and eats around 6 and takes about 45 min to hour snoozer. She gets up, eats anywhere from 6-9 oz before bed and is usually in bed by 8-8:30! I love routine just as much as she does! :)

She is the happiest girl ever. Everyone always compliments us on how happy she is. You can just look at her and she'll smile. Daddy gets her to giggle by continuously kissing and nestling into her neck. It is so cute!

How did this happen, seriously?

Time needs to slow down!! The last 6 months flew by! Love this little sweet pea to the moon and back!!
