Growth Ultrasound 8.13.13

Mommy and Daddy got to see their sweet little girl again yesterday! This had to have been the BEST appointment out of all of them, hands down. Don't get me wrong, seeing her every month has been a true blessing, but this last appt. topped it off because.......

We got to see our little princess's face!

I love her SO much already!!!! We were NOT expecting the 3-D effect at this appt...WOW! It caught us both off guard. Mark has never been a fan of the 3-D's, "it freaks him out"...ha ha. He enjoyed seeing her though! I got teary eyed, it was like love at first site:) (no joke)

We thanked our Dr's at the end and told them how much we truly appreciated the added perk! She said they do that sometimes and told us how much they liked us :)

Anyway! The rest of the appt. went great as well!! The Dr measured everything, listened to the heart beat, checked the amniotic fluid and blood flow through the umbilical cord...needless to say, in the end he just kept repeating, "GREAT looking baby....very good looking baby right there....everything looks great"...we were all smiles.

"Little" Hef is weighing in at 4 lb 10 oz and is in the 71st percentile! She's right on track! He predicted her weighing in the high 7 range.

She was in the face down position (thank goodness:)) and that abdominal/rib discomfort I've been talking about....yep, her little feet are pushing/resting up against that particular spot and every now and then her knee bumps in there. Little stinker!!

One more growth ultrasound to go and our little pumpkin will be here! It's hard to believe, time is just slipping away! We are so excited though!!

After our appt. we went for a nice walk, then to Target and got more "baby things" of course, and then on to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate such a good appt. ;)  (yeah, like we need an excuse to go there, ha ha)

Overall a GREAT day and looking forward to a GREAT weekend with family and friends!!
