It's {officially} a GIRL ;) {24 week Growth Ultrasound}

On June 20th, Mommy and Daddy got to see their little girl again on ultrasound! Due to her little issue with her umbillical cord coming out the side of the placenta versus the middle of the placenta, every month we get an ultrasound! We don't mind, just wish it wasn't for that particular reason.

We were pretty excited for this ultrasound especially because we actually got to see "psychology"! At our last u/s the dr. tried to convince us to look at the gender rather than just have it on a picture for our big Reveal. He said picture is just not the same as psychology. Well, we definitely got to see psychology this time!!
Our little girl is kind of exposing herself! Hehe. We didn't think we'd beable to even see though because she was at an awkward position but someone the dr. managed to get her to turn for us. She's mooning us!

Everything checked out great! The dr. said we had a wonderfully growing baby right now weighing in at a whopping 1 lb. 5 oz.! To me, that's "big" just to think of when we first started our whole "process" we couldn't even see the embryos with a naked eye, you had to look under a microscope!

They did make now that she was breech again. I know that can change within minutes, but they just made sure to document it.

She was a'movin' in there though. She is usually "asleep" early morning and when I'm at work around 10ish she'll start moving and then very active in the evening when daddy is home with us! It just amazes me how much she moves and how responsive she is. If I rest my arm on my tummy or poke at it alittle, she starts moving around if it's at the right time.

Daddy got pretty freaked out/excited the other night when he poked at her and he felt her immediately kick back! He got up, eyes bulging out, put his hand over his mouth, and walked to the other side of the room. We were both laughing and saying how she's a little sassy pants already!

She is pretty excited because Grandpa and Grandma might get to come with us to our next ultrasound in July to see her!!! Hopefully she is more lady-like at her next appt. hehe.
