Jordyn's 1st roadtrip and meeting new family/friends!

The weekend of October 26th-27th, Jordyn experienced her very first roadtrip up to Iowa to meet new family and friends! She did awesome in the car! She slept pretty much the WHOLE way. We drove 3 hours, stopped to eat, change, and feed in Missouri Valley which is our 1/2 way point, and then drove the last 2 hours and she slept some more until we got to Grampy and Grammy's house.

We arrived on a Thursday evening and my sister, brother, and nieces came on Friday morning! Jordyn loved snuggles with her cousin Shayla.

And unfortunately, as much as cousin Adelynn wanted to get SO close and touch Jordyn, we had to have them somewhat keep their distance. Addie is at a stage of wanting to touch, poke, and "play rough" so we got them as close as we could without disturbing Lil J :)

This is probably the closest they got:) Pretty soon Jordyn will beable to play rough back and they will have a ton of fun together!

I didn't get a picture, but my brother-in-law also made a surprise visit early Saturday morning! He didn't come back with Laura and the girls but he had it planned to come bright 'n early Saturday morning to meet Jordyn!

Jordyn also got to meet her Great Grandma and Grandpa! Jordyn's middle name is after this wonderful woman, Clare.
While visiting Great Grandma and Grandpa, great Aunt Roberta came to meet her as well as cousin Chris, great Uncle Jim and Leon. She was a popular little girl!

And last, but certainly not least, she got to meet Auntie Kendra, Lauryn, Cole, Paisley, and Quin and see Auntie Sarah again!!
Jordyn is blessed with so many wonderful family and friends that are a part of her life. She tends to get spoiled quite a bit, especially by her Grammy.......
While we were home, my mom ordered cupcakes from a local gal who makes amazing goodies! This gal had seen awhile back that I had posted something on facebook about chocolate cupcakes with cookie dough filling and frosting. Yum! Well, needless to say, she made the cupcakes my mom had ordered and specially made about a dozen of the cookie dough ones just for me. She is amazing and so are her cupcakes!
All in all, it was a wonderful weekend with family and friends, as always! Our little family is beyond blessed and Baby Jordyn is so loved by many.
