Jordyn's 1st ROYALS game!

What a great time we had at the K this past Saturday!! Not going to lie, we were a bit nervous bringing Jordyn to her first game especially with how hot it was and how mobile she has become! As of Friday evening, we were planning on just ditching the game because of our worries but of course at the last minute, we decided to buy tickets online and we went!

Jordyn took a long AM nap from 9-11:30 so when she woke up, she was fired up and ready to go!! She wouldn't be due for her afternoon nap until around 3ish, which was perfect since the game was at 1:10. So off we were, en route to the K!

Proud daddy right here!! Bringing his little girl to her very 1st Royals game...he was glowing carrying her through the stadium!
The afternoon was not at all what we had anticipated! Jordyn is a good baby don't get me wrong, but now with her being so mobile, we were afraid she'd want to get down and crawl everywhere. She was the exact opposite and was an angel! She sat on our laps the whole time and we kept her hydrated with water and brought a couple little snackies for her to munch on.
We loaded her up with sunscreen and her little bonnet but luckily we got shaded seats so we all kept pretty cool, for the most part! Unfortunately, her and daddy heated eachother up when she sat on his lap, so then I would take her and she'd cool back down:)
I'm not going to lie and say that I saw alot of the game! I was busy keeping her content and of course we'd watch the game on and off. Gordon had a good hit here! ;)
She loved people watching! Of course she got lots of attention. It was cute, this younger boy sitting on the other side of Mark kept his eye on her the whole time :) Her first 'older' crush, hehe.
One of our mains goals was to get her picture with Slugger!! During the 4th inning we went down to the kids zone to meet him! She didn't really know what to think of him:)
A fun day was had by all!!! It's too bad the Royals lost, but hey, it was still a fun family day!
