Weekend fun at Grammy and Grampy's!

On Thursday afternoon we were Iowa bound! She was such a good little girl in her carseat for about 5 hours. We were both nervous on how she'd do since she is getting alot more alert and curious.

We got up to Grampy and Grammy's around 6:30ish and just hung out!

Friday morning was dedicated to snuggles of course...

 

Here is our little Valentine all dressed and ready to go on her date for the day!!



Friday afternoon Daddy stayed home with Jordyn while my mom and I ran a few quick errands over in Sioux Center and then met my sister and niece half way(from Sioux Falls) in Hawarden to take Addie back with us so her mommy and daddy could have a Valentine date night!



Friday evening after mine and Mark's date night we all hung out, played, and the girls had a pajama party!

Addie did so well without her mommy for her first overnight stay. She did get up at 3AM and did not want her bottle OR to go back in the crib! I tried laying her in bed with us, didn't want that. I went downstairs with her and tried rocking and she did okay then, but was wide awake...and then she thought it was play time...at about 4:45 she finally fell back asleep on the couch with me! Obviously she didn't think the pajama party was over just yet :)

I was jealous though, Jordyn slept with Grammy and she slept through the night! I took the wrong baby for the night but we had to because the crib was up in our room and that's the only place Addie would sleep.

Saturday morning Kendra, Cole, and Lauryn came to visit us! Cole and Addie had alot of fun together!

 

They were both pretty tired after their play date! Well...Addie was anyway!!

This was right before Addie laid down for her nap, she just wanted to be by Uncle Mark...she sure does love him! They have so much fun together...

Saturday afternoon my sister got home, she was so happy to see Addie and vice versa! We went out to my grandpa and grandma's so they could love up the great grandkids a bit. My grandpa had fun playing with Addie and my grandma had fun giving Jordie cuddles and making her smile!

Of course we had to snap a quick picture of this... 3 matching generations :)

Saturday night we all went out for Mexican, came home and gave the babies baths and cuddles, hung out, and went to bed!

Mark and I had to be on the road by 8:30AM because Mark had to work at 3 so Grammy and Auntie had to get in their last minute cuddles in the morning and we were on the road.

A fun weekend was had by all, time flies when you're having fun!

Jordie misses everyone already! (and yes, she sure does love her Grammy!! She's a Grammy's girl)
