18 Month well visit! Where is the time going??

On Friday, April 9th, Daddy picked Jordyn up from daycare and we were off her to 4:00pm 18 month well visit! Can our baby really be a year and a half old??
She is getting smarter and more aware now. The minute the nurse called us back into the room, she plopped down on her bottom and started crying. As the nurse took all her vitals she cried and cried!!! Little did she know, she did not have to get ANY shots at this appointment!!

She weighed in at 28 lb 0.5oz! That's a good 2 lb gain from her 15 mo appointment! She was in the 90th percentile for weight and head circumference. She was in the 70th percentile for height. Dr. Loeb was very impressed with her development and saying words. We had to fill out a survey, which we found out was an autism test... needless to say, she passed:)

Jordyn's daily routine at 18 months is pretty much the same as 15 months:

She wakes up around 8:00 on the weekends. She rarely even wakes us up anymore, she just lays in her crib and sucks on her blanky until we come get her. We watch cartoons, eat breakfast and playtime in the morning. Around noon we eat lunch and soon after lunch, around 1:30ish we lay her down for her PM nap. She usually sleeps for a good 2 hours. I usually give her a little snack around 4ish to get her through until supper time. We usually eat supper around 5:30ish. After supper we play, take a bath if it's bath night, sing our little song "twinkle, twinkle little star, do you know how loved you are?" and goes to bed around 8:30ish. On the weekends we usually push it until 9-9:30. She does great going down for naps and bed. She has a 'new' thing with saying "rawr" when we lay her down for bed, lol random! I can't help but laugh and "rawr" back:)

She is still in size 5 diapers and wearing almost all 2T clothes. Some select clothing are 3T but I think they run smaller!

She LOVES:
Her BLANKY which she rarely ever parts with-it's her security blanky:)
Going for wagon and stroller rides
Going to the park (down the slide and swing!)
Climbing steps
Going for car rides now that she has her portable DVD player:)
Sitting on daddy's shoulders
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse

Favorite foods right now:
Fruit snacks
Pasta as always!
Nanas (bananas)
Ice cream sandwiches
Toaster strudels

Some words that she says/mimics:
No (nose) and points to it
Eye and points to it
Eee (ear) and points to it
Pah pah (puppy)

Her next appointment will be at 2 years in October. Seriously, where is the time going? I am praying time slows down but until then, I am going to take in each and every moment with my sweet baby girl and family! <3 We are truly BLESSED with a HAPPY and HEALTHY baby girl!!
