Jordyn is 10 months old!

Is my baby really going to be 1 year old in two short months??? Where has the time gone?? Bittersweet...

Well our little girl is HAPPY and healthy as can be...
Not a whole lot has changed from her 9 month update. She is pretty much on the same schedule; wakes up around 6:30ish, bottle, breakfast at 8, AM nap between 9-9:30, lunch at 12, bottle and PM nap at 2, dinner at 5:30, and pushed bed time back to 8-8:30.

She went through about a week long episode of crying when we put her back in her crib for her nap or bed. We give her kisses, tell her it's ni-ni time, and that we'll see her in the morning, walk toward the door, and the minute we close it she just melts- break my heart! Thank goodness she got over that!

Her appetite hasn't been as good with her getting more teeth in. Her daycare provider and myself are having a hard time getting her to eat fruits and veggies. My daycare lady said that we have a "carb girl" on our hands. She loves breads and pasta!

Mommy had to bring her to the doctor this past month because she was fussy and tugging at her ear. Everyone at daycare was asking Sherrie "why Baby Jordyn was crying for no reason". They are not used to that!! Jordyn is always happy!! I brought her in for a check up and her ears looked great, so we are assuming that more teeth are trying to work their way in. Better to be safe than sorry though!
In the past month Jordyn has been saying "ma ma ma ma"!! Yay! Along with "da da da da" alot. She will mimic you; if you say "da da" she will say it back and smile. It is so cute.

She knows what bye bye means. If you say, "Jordyn do you want to go bye bye", she will drop everything she's doing and bee line it to the door. She also knows what "are you hungry" means. If you say that to her, she will start licking her chops. The minute you start walking to her high chair with food too, she will lick her chops, too cute! Smart little girl we have!

When mommy gets home from the gym after work, she hears the door and looks over at me, drops everything she's doing and bee lines it for me. BEST part of my day!! I scoop her up, squeeze her, and give her a ton of kisses! Prime example of a bad day gone great! :)

She can pull herself up and walk behind her musical activity walker. She loves 'walking' around versus crawling sometimes. We brought her outside with it and she was on a roll. I have a feeling she'll be walking in no time.

She loves to do patty cake!! You say "patty cake" and she throws her hands together and gives you the biggest smile ever and we all say, "yaaaay" to applaud her:)
She is no longer deeply affected by us/Sherrie scolding her "no no no". She used to just melt down when we said it, now she just looks at you eye to eye and eventually smiles. To say the least though, she is pretty good about leaving mommy's pretties alone and when we do say no she usually backs off and goes on to something new.

She is getting alot more vocal, especially when she's in her high chair. When she starts getting full and is just sitting there, she will go on and on just talking or just get irritated with sitting there and get crabby and that's our Q to get her out!

Jordyn is in size 12-18 month clothing and we just bumped her up to size 5 diapers {wowza!}. She has alot of room though, rather have that than them be tight on her!

Just alittle comparison, then and now:
She was so 'new' and fragile. I don't remember her being that little! :) I sure do love watching her grow and develop new skills each day though!

Below is my #transformationtuesday picture. It's so hard to believe that I was about 10 months pregnant there and now that little baby inside of me is now 10 months old! #slowdowntime!
Here's to another month of happiness and pure joy!
